I am currently the Head of Global Safeguarding for Oxfam GB. This role oversees the organisation's approach to tackling sexual exploitation and abuse of our beneficiaries and staff by our own representatives. The role manages OGB's PSEA and Child & Vulnerable Adult policies, and as a function responds to and investigates any allegations received against our staff members and representatives of any type of sexual violence. I first began working for Oxfam GB in 2006 and have worked in Gender, Public Health, Staff Health and other support roles, chiefly with a Humanitarian focus.

More recently I managed a Rape Crisis Centre in the UK, working to provide specialist services for survivors of sexual violence in Oxfordshire. With a Public Health background, I've undertaken research into interventions designed to teach consent to sex to young people.  My main research interests include prevention of sexual violence and GBV, particularly at a community level (both globally and in the UK), and health promotion and behaviour change more broadly.
