Pumla Dineo Gqola

Pumla Dineo Gqola, a feminist writer, is Professor of African literary and gender studies at the University of the Witwatersrand. She holds a PhD from the University of Munich, Germany and two Master’s degrees from the Universities of Warwick, England and Cape Town, South Africa. 

She is author of What is slavery to me? Postcolonial/Slave memory in post-apartheid South Africa (2010), A Renegade called Simphiwe (2013), and more recently Rape: A South African nightmare (2015).
